Business Development Manager

Founded in 2004, Localeze helps national brands and local merchants to structure, enhance and distribute data that will make them prominent to consumers searching for local goods and services online. Currently, Localeze is looking for highly-experienced business professional to fill the position of strategic relationship manager. In this role, you will work with existing high profile accounts in the Internet Yellow Page, Search Engine, and Online Directory markets. It will be your responsibility to manage day-to-day client activities and act as primary liaison for the Localeze technical team. This role requires experience in the interactive local & national advertising and or yellow page print markets.
Our Chicago office is seeking a Business Development Manager to focus on emerging technologies such as wireless, mobile devices, and applications complimentary to Online Local Search.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales of Localeze products/ services to North America based Internet wireless customers (ISPs, Wireless Carriers, VARs and/ or LBS Application Developers)
- Update/ maintain sales records (sf.com) and monthly management reports.
- Account management with assigned customers.
- Trade show and marketing initiative support.
- Meet designated annual revenue quotas
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with/ selling complex, integrated data solutions (preferably business data, content, or geo-spatial content or software based) into major North America companies (Minimum- 2 years experience in this market segment)
- Minimum 10 total years of successful sales, sales management and/ or marketing experience. (Systems integration, Information Systems, Data and / or Intangibles preferred)
- Strong contract negotiation experience, communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to travel
- A self starter who will enjoy the challenge of building a territory with world class customers.
- Demonstrated leadership ability in business planning and customer management
- A proven sales professional who is results oriented and quota driven.
